Tylor Marie Hooks · Southwest Florida conceptual artist & photographer

Dreamy.
A little dark.
Never boring.

Photography that highlights the vibrancy of the human form, connection and experience — events, and journalistic, editorial-style portraits. Self-represented in Southwest Florida, taking clients on a limited basis, with a bag always packed for Tampa and Miami.

The artist

Writing poems about my life and throwing paint at people.

I’m Tylor Marie Hooks, a Southwest Florida conceptual artist moonlighting as an event photographer and copywriter. When I’m not working, being a mother, or resting, that’s what I’m doing — the poems and the paint.

I’ve cultivated my crafts for over a decade, transforming emotional reactions into visual representations through words, performance and digital art. The theme of duality in love runs through everything I make.

My photography highlights the vibrancy of the human form, connection and experience. I specialize in event photography and journalistic, editorial-style portraits — dreamy, a little dark, never boring.

What I shoot

Weird, honest, beautiful things.

  1. 01

    Event photography

Gallery openings, launches, shows, the party after the show. Shot journalistically — I follow the night, I don't stage it. Southwest Florida, plus Tampa and Miami when the art calls.

  2. 02

    Avant-garde weddings

Elopements, warehouse vows, backyard chaos, black-dress brides. Coverage with an art-school eye, for people who want the day to feel the way it felt.

  3. 03

    Journalistic & editorial portraits

Portraits with a pulse — the human form, connection and experience, in the studio or on the street. Brand-first work for artists, makers and small businesses.

Also, because I’m a copywriter tooWhy write for yourself when you can outsource?

Brand management for professional artists, ad and social copy, content planning, ghost writing, website copy & SEO, email campaigns, blogging, logo creation. Who can benefit? You.
